GTI – Replaced front PCV valve

Noticed some boost leaking feeling like lag. Diverter valve and pipes all seemed fine so must have been the PCV valve. I last replaced the PCV valve on the GTI back in July 2020 at 102k miles so it lasted pretty well with the boost im running and the spirited driving.

Replacement went as expected with no surprises. Test drive went well and the GTI felt much more responsive.

Update: Took the GTI out this morning. What a difference that PCV valve made. The old one must have been slowly deteriorating over time that I didnt notice the performance loss. Also have to wonder how long its been like this. MPG has also been improved which should help. Prepped the return of the hold one with FCP Euro using their lifetime warranty. This will be my first time using it.
